I purchased my first fixer upper when I married my beautiful wife Sarah in 2003. As a do-it-yourself homeowner and to the chagrin of my new wife, I, of course, had to completely remodel our home from floor to ceiling. It was quite a learning curve, I've eaten many 'creative' meals when I tore into the kitchen, but we drew closer together and became addicted to transforming a house into a home! As our family grew and circumstances changed, we went from one fixer upper to another, beautifying neighborhoods one house at a time and drawing closer to my family more than ever.
Here's a little history on my experience. Since I was a teenager I've been in the construction trade. I began as a masonry contractor and gradually moved into a foreman position supervising ultimate dream home builds. I also have training in OSHA safety protocol and experience with clean energy efficient builds. Sarah has been employed with digital builds since 2010, and she is the most organized person I know. The last project we finished together was our forever home in 2017. After it's completion, it was only natural for us to join forces and create First Avenue Homes, LLC.
Now that we have our forever home, we want to bring our passion and skills to you. We are passionate about creating and renovating any space in a home, be it large or small. Our goal is to bring family's together and help you take your next step to your forever home.
